Rebecca Meek & William Littlejohn

For Rebecca’s 30th birthday her friends chartered the Wadmacallit, a 41-foot pink sport fishing boat, out of Toler’s Cove. Bart was their mate, and after he missed the first fish, Rebecca told him he had to take her to dinner. Four days later was he took her to the Boathouse and they’ve been together ever since. The couple, who now live in Spartanburg, came back to town for the 2011 Rockville Regatta—a favorite event of Rebecca’s. On Friday night, just as the sun was setting, the couple took to the waters aboard a 35-foot Bertram where Bart dropped to his knee and proposed. The couple’s ceremony is planned for September 22, 2012.
