Ashley Roe & John Roach

Ashley and John met while each was between careers. Now both teachers, they spend days off walking around downtown Charleston. On one such walk the couple took a break on a bench at Waterfront Park. “We were talking about being with each other forever and then he got down on one knee and said, ‘Let's get married!’” says Ashley.
