The fashion marathon begins! I'm excited to bring you along for the behind the scenes diary of what I experience at Charleston Fashion Week.

Sunday the Art Institute hosted a fashion exhibit in their gallery featuring student fashion illustrations, visual merchandising projects, tissue paper couture, and special guest artist Julie Klaper's "fastening" fashion as art collection. Designer Mychael Knight landed just hours before and joined me at this celebration of emerging talent! Next we headed out to Folly Beach for the Surfing the Runway show to see former Charleston Fashion Week Emerging Designers, Emily Bargeron and Megan Waldrep present their new Spring 2010 collections.
