Last week two amazing events took place on the same night! So the Charleston Mag style crew split up and conquered both with flip cam in hand.

King Street Studios Photography and Lowcountry Plastic Surgery Center threw a huge Sex and The City 2 bash at Bambu where I served as the judge for a handful of best dressed categories and prizes! I don't know if I had the more fun hosting the contest, having pop-up photo shoots with King Street Studios, or watching the movie!  I can tell you one thing for sure. SATC movie premieres brings out the best looking crowd!  This party came with two parts as Cinnebare kept the excitement up with their own pre-movie bash. The most fabulous part of this fashion packed night was that it served as a benefit for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!  Watch the highlights from this red carpet affair that got  "Carried"  away!

On this very night, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art's, Call and Response: Africa to America: The Art of Nick Cave and Phyllis Galembo  opening party sponsored by Charleston Magazine and Art Mag was in full swing. This exhibit proved to be a powerful display of art, textiles, found objects, and photography documenting actual African masquerade performers. This cross-cultural display of art captivated party goers and inspired costumed guests to step outside of the box. Watch what unfolds at this amazingly odd art opening and see what they wore!
