The Shifa Clinic hosts its sixth annual fundraising banquet, with all proceeds supporting the organization in the coming year. The Shifa Clinic, located in Mount Pleasant, is a nonprofit devoted to providing healthcare to underinsured individuals in the Charleston community, and offers a number of medical, educational, and outreach services. The benefit features a silent auction, a gourmet meal, and keynote speeches from Dr. Abdulhakim Mohamed, phD in Islamic philosophy, and local women's rights advocate Jennet Robinson Alterman.
