Mulled Apple Cider

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 6 orange slices, seeded
  • 3 thin slices fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 10 whole allspice
  • 15 whole cloves
  • 4-5 cinnamon sticks


Bring all ingredients to a simmer. (If desired, tie all seasonings except for orange slices in cheesecloth for easy removal before serving.) Allow to steep for at least 30 minutes. Strain spices before serving.
