Rolling Into a Reception Near You!

Let Charleston’s fleet of food trucks flavor your wedding

Written by Melissa Bigner

The other day the Taco Boy food truck set up shop near my house (and home office) for lunch and I nearly flipped for joy. There’s something about those sassily painted vans that perk me up faster than a kid hearing an ice cream truck’s tinny song. I swear I start scrambling for loose change and running before I know what’s happening.

And just what, pray tell, does this have to do with you and your wedding? Why, everything! We’ve seen a host of great affairs lately with food trucks either headlining or supplementing a more traditionally catered event, be it a rehearsal dinner or reception. Check out Lea Deas and Dave Brown’s farm-fresh reception last summer to see how to do it seamlessly. Hello My Name Is BBQ was the perfect compliment to their pie buffet and homespun setting.
