A mainstay in contemporary gospel music, singer-songwriter Bill Gaither has composed and performed more than 700 songs since 1956, when he started his first band, The Bill Gaither Trio. Now, he continues to record with his current group, The Gaither Vocal Band, which has released 29 albums, received two Grammys and 17 DOVE Awards, and been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
