Daniel Island
April 2015

Returning for its seventh year, this community market along the sidewalks in front of the Family Circle Tennis Center continues to grow, adding an expanded lineup of artisans this season. Shop coastal-themed necklaces from Sandbar Jewelry and women’s resortwear from KikiSol. A Charleston BathWorks candle in “John’s Island Tomato” scent is a worthy addition to a bag of seasonal produce from regional farmers. Savor samples from Charleston Artisan Cheesehouse and One Hive Honey, or stop by the week’s featured food truck for an on-the-spot snack or take-home dinner. Young children can keep busy with a rotating schedule of kid’s crafts, and everyone enjoys performances from musicians such as Chris Dodson and McKenna Andrews. Along with eating and shopping local, folks can learn about a different Lowcountry cause each week, thanks to the featured nonprofits.
