The Center for Women is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to help women succeed personally and professionally every day. In 2009, the Center for Women conducted 110 different programs and events in our tri-county area and touched over 6,000 women. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, we continue to offer a full and varied range of educational and development programs, as well as support services like counseling, job coaching, empowerment groups and community referrals. |
Lowcountry AIDS Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons living with HIV and AIDS and to providing HIV prevention resources and programs for schools, churches, community organizations, and the workplace in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. |
