Based on the classic 1845 novella by Prosper Mérimée, Yo, Carmen depicts the tale of a fiery, sultry gypsy who is unrestrained by conventions and expectations. Accompanied by some of Spain’s most talented musicians, María Pagés, a skilled flamenco dancer, performs a beautiful and unique interpretation of this legendary character.
