Head out to the beach to hear one of Charleston’s favorite hometown bands, the Blue Dogs. Having produced 10 albums over more than two decades, the four-man group draws fans with a sound that incorporates bluegrass, jam band rock, and pop rock. Raleigh-based band Old Habits opens this holiday weekend show, bringing traditional bluegrass, powerful harmonies, and strong instrumentals. The Windjammer, 1008 Ocean Blvd., Isle of Palms.
