Sheryl Sandberg with Michele Norris: Option B

Last month, nearly two years after the sudden death of her husband, SurveyMonkey CEO Dave Goldberg, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg published Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy. In the book, she describes feeling as though she and her children would never experience pure happiness again. But then her friend, psychologist Adam Grant, explained that there are concrete actions people can take to work through tragedies. During this Blue Bicycle Books and Center for Women event, hear NPR’s Michele Norris interview Sandberg about all that she learned and take home a copy of Option B, pre-signed by Sandberg and Grant, her co-author. Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St. Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. $35.
