Through 70 works—rare painted ceramics and bronzes, tomb figures, Buddhist sculptures, and more—spanning Neolithic times (ca. 8000-2000 B.C) to China’s Tang Dynasty (618-907) to Yuan Dyansty (906-1308), “Eye to the East: The Turner Collection of Chinese Art” is an exhaustive overview of Chinese Art. And because wine makes everything better, don’t miss the museum’s one-time opportunity to tour the Chinese artifacts, paired with a wine tasting led by Ali Borchardt, Director of Education. Columbia Museum of Art, 1515 Main St., Columbia. Wine Tasting: Friday, January 16. 6:30-8:30pm. $35; $25 member. Registration required.
