Event Details

The labyrinthine passages of Fort Moultrie mirror the twisted mind they inspired: that of Edgar Allan Poe, who wrote “The Gold Bug” on Sullivan’s Island. During this Creative Spark Center for the Arts benefit, watch area actors dramatize frightening vignettes from the author’s works, and enjoy refreshments from Poe’s Tavern. Fort Moultrie, 1214 Middle St., Sullivan’s Island. Saturday, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, & 8:30pm. $55 VIP; $30. (843)509-0972, www.creativespark.org
