“Food Is Good” in this hip hot spot.  The understated design provides plenty of panache without interfering with FIG’s real purpose: showcasing simple, super-fresh seasonal dishes—such as sheep’s milk ricotta gnocchi and sweet potato mezzaluna with pecans, sage, and parmesan—from James Beard’s 2009 Best Chef: Southeast, Mike Lata.
