Formerly the Bookstore Café on Upper King Street downtown, this comfy  neighborhood mainstay's name hasn’t affected the menu and the hunka-chunka breakfast still reigns all day. Dive into the mile-high biscuits, egg casserole, and corned beef hash. Lunchtime salads and sandwiches include a fried green tomato and pimiento cheese  and a Monte Cristo dipped in egg batter and grilled to perfection.
