You are here

Well, hello there! It has been some time since I’ve last corresponded in my Editor’s Picks blog (actually three months), but I have a good excuse: I was busy planning a wedding—mine to Wally Seinsheimer—which took place at Boone Hall’s Cotton Dock last Tuesday. (You can read a bit about it in Charleston Weddings editor Melissa Bigner’s Bridal Blog “Staffers Say I Dos” and look for it in an upcoming issue of the magazine).

I have to say it was a gorgeous and joyous event—a big thank you to our family and friends who gathered to witness and celebrate and to Kate and Tara of Soirée by Tara Guerard who designed and handled every perfect detail. And now that the whirlwind of parties, rehearsal dinner, nuptials, and Thanksgiving is complete, I am committed not only to my wonderful new husband, but to you, Charleston fan and reader, with a weekly blog of my picks of Lowcountry doings. Expect it every Monday.

As for this week, you’d better put on your seatbelt, because the season is kicking into high gear! And I thought I was whooped after last week’s festivities….
