Nature Adventures Outfitters invites you to paddle the scenic waters of the Lowcountry, and explore shallow bays, sandy beaches, barrier islands, and saltwater marsh creeks. NAO provides canoes and kayaks similar to the dug-out designs created and used by Native Americans and explore the sacred ceremonial rings built by the Coastal Plain Indians over 4,000 years ago. The tour guided by a professional naturalist includes a half mile hike between a clam shell mound and an oyster shell ring and expert interpretations of the natural surroundings, including all of the plants, wildlife, and fish. 7407 Doar Rd., Awendaw.
