Event Details

The smooth waterfront outside of the City Gallery strongly clashes with the discordant images of poverty that Pedro Lobo displays throughout the month in conjunction with bluesphere. Lobo’s “favelas,” meaning shanty-town, get into the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro that usually don’t get developed onto film. This unveiling is Lobos’ first showing of the images in the United States.City Gallery at Waterfront Park, 34 Prioleau St. Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday-Sunday, 12pm-5pm.
