Hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, expressionist artist Charles Nkomo is known for his bright, abstract depictions of African landscapes, wildlife, and people. In addition to being a resident painter at the National Art Gallery, Nkomo—who has shown his work in Africa, Europe, and the United States—is bringing his talents to Charleston for the first time.
